Then I put the windows ssd into my Mac Pro running Catalina 10.15.5 with opencore 0.5.6 and bingo. I did sort of a crazy install by putting a second ssd in my 2012 MacBook Pro running Catalina, I removed one of my two ssds and put the new blank one in, installed windows 10 with boot camp then converted the drive from MBR to GPT, when you do that the MacBookpro can no longer boot off the windows drive once it’s converted to GPT. It is a bit tricky as opencore does not support legacy installs of windows 10 which is what bootcamp will install if you use it.
